I am Paul Seebacher. A full-stack developer, agile PM living in Austria. I work in the field of information and communication technology since some time. Mostly I work on web applications. My latest employments where at BearingPoint GmbH as Senior Technology Consultant and in different roles at Know-Center GmbH (Austrias leading research centre for data-driven business, big-data analytics and cognitive computing). I studied information and communication technology and did develop great experience while working with new and state-of-the-art technologies. I am involved in several development activities concerning web and mobile applications, have done consulting for media and industry companies and am active in the developer community in Austria. My work and teachings introduced me to topics like communication networks, information systems, knowledge discovery and human-computer interaction and lately project management. I do find lot of relaxation when hiking through the nature of Austria, when cooking, when playing the piano or when working out.
In my role as Application Manager, I enable colleagues across the organization with tooling support for project, software, and documentation management—empowering teams to work more efficiently and collaboratively. I combine technical expertise with team administration skills to foster an effective, agile working environment.
I also represent the company at ENTSO-E, contributing to the definition of a common policy for IT system hosting—helping shape industry-wide standards for european transmission service operators and regional coordination centers.
A key part of my work involve modernizing legacy systems, where I applied strong engineering practices to significantly improve maintainability and security, ensuring the systems are future-ready and aligned with evolving needs.
Working with the client in an agile project environment, delivering product increments, while also refining, formulating requirements and doing operative tasks along with a highly skilled team.
Working as a fullstack web developer in the service and development area at Know-Center GmbH (Research Center for Data-Driven Business & Big Data Analytics). Here i mostly worked with Angular, Python, Wordpress/PHP, node.js, Java while also using tools like docker and git. Many tasks involve development of webapplications deep learning, data analytics and natural language processing

Event
"barcamps" are community driven events that work simliar to conferences. The format is designed to have the least most effort for organising such none-conferences. The Barcamp Graz is happening each year and is organised by a small team of engaged people from around the areas software development, information design, startup/entrepreneurship and politics. In the year 2017 there where almost 300 participants.

Mobile development
gutgemacht.at is a service provided by the local media company "Kleine Zeitung" situated in Graz, Austria. The website offers to small to large business owners to advertise their company with a simple tool. On the site company owners can create a profile and state their offerings while user can rate the company and write reviews. To further ease to administration of those profiles a mobile app was developed. The main features include edit/administration of the profile and special offers. While the content was updated on gutgemacht.at it was also posted on social media platforms.
